We need to start promoting the Payson April 18-19 Appleseed as i forgot to put it up on the board my bad, so we need to get going on this ok?


Range: Jim Jones Shooting Range

When: April 18-19, 2009

Range Fee:  $7 for 2 days, payable at the range.  This is the same as last year and they hope to hold it at 7, but still awaiting final word.

Camping available: None on site.

Directions: From Phoenix, drive North on Highway 87 (Beeline Highway).  Keep an eye out for milepost 248... it's about 2 miles just south of Payson city limits.  Drive 0.6 miles north of milepost 248 and turn right onto Forest Road 208.  The range is approximately 1.8 miles down the road.

From Payson, drive south on Highway 87.  At milepost 249, go about 0.4 miles to the left-turn cutout in the highway and turn left onto Forest Road 208.  The range is approximately 1.8 miles down the road.

Misc:  No tracer, incendiary, armor-piercing or other hard-core type ammunition that might cause a spark is allowed.

Can you tell me the maximum number of Appleseeders we handle on the line at the for AZ April 18-19 Appleseed event(s)?

How are we doing on promoting this, what needs to be done yet? who is going to be there?

Hey,

I'll be there, no doubt. 

I went up to the Tonto Rim Shooting Club monthly meeting on March 19th and gave a 10 minute talk about the AS program and also got flyers for the event out to everyone that attended (about 40 or so). 

Charlie (PR head for the club) was going to take the remaining flyers and pass them out at a small gun show they had in Payson the weekend of the Buckeye AS and also do the same at the April club meeting which is the Thursday before the April 18-19 weekend.
