Well, the weather outside was frightful for the Battle of the Bulge 75th Anniversary Winterseed. Four hearty souls, all from out of state, came to chill with our Project Appleseed instructors and share in some marksmanship and American heritage instruction. Even with plenty of instruction breaks in the clubhouse to ward off hypothermia, we got in a lot of shooting in the two days.
Beaver Valley Rifle & Pistol Club graciously gave us the Rifle range for all day Sunday (much to the chagrin of a few members who didn't check the Club calendar), so we had plenty of opportunity to put some KD theory into practice at 200 & 300 yards. High score for the weekend among the students was a 184, by Shamus, and Jim cleared a Redcoat target.
In the end, all involved vowed to come back and try again in warmer weather.
Sounds like rifleman heaven out there; can't wait to join in sometime!
