Sold out! We had a full line of 20 fine ladies and men this past weekend. The Wolfhound, Bad Fishy, Horse Soldier and myself were joined by a Yankee from PA: Chainsaw, to tell some history and teach some marksmanship. A fine time was had by all including, or perhaps especially our 5 youth shooters. The weather was as perfect as you could ask for, contributing to one of the best weekends we've had.
Sunday we broke our AQT train up a little bit with a pause for a Natural Point of Oreo drill. Two Oreos did not survive the carded sights. The other 18 didn't survive the not-carded second volley.
We also had the pleasure of minting 5 new riflemen, Luke, Zak, Mike, and Paul.

Thank you Shoot Boss, Instructors, and AITs!. This was my second Appleseed. I learned a lot more than the first time (I was better prepared to listen and practice what I was taught) and really had a good time. I've already registered for Stafford in January and plan to bring one of my sons. I hope it's a winterseed! Best part, I got over my stubborn and dumb insistence on using a right handed bolt action as a left hander. I'm looking forward to improving with a better fit rifle.
