Another hot day for KD in north central Arkansas! Maybe the last hot day, time for Fall weather! This was our Thursday KD at the Vets Shooting Center, in Russell, Arkansas! For those who don't know, Russell is just five short miles from the metropolis of Bald Knob.
The Vets Shooting Center, has hosted multiple Appleseeds since their opening in 2010, free of charge! They are very worthy of our support.
The weekly 600 yard shoot went very well, with many good scores fired! One might think we would be getting bored with shooting 600 yards and other yardages so much, but nothing could be further from the truth! KD is always fun and builds confidence in your rifle, your equipment and yourself! Huzzahh! We have also fired a few full KDAQT's this year and also conducted a High Power XTC as well.
We have missed just a few weeks since April, so far, only four stalwart Appleseed Riflemen and a few other non Appleseeders, have been partaking of all of this rifle shooting goodness! Too bad, our shooting is open to all other competent Riflemen. If not competent, we'll get you there.
As usual, if wanting to shoot with some ol' Appleseeders, KD or even the reduced course, give us a shout, we'll likely saddle up and meet you at the range.
