I'm honored to be of service to the Appleseeders who came out to this shoot. Congrats to Adam who scored rifleman, and John who repeated.
The Precision Appleseed that ran concurrent with the regular Appleseed was rather small (one shooter) but he scored extraordinarily high. Congrats to John (yes the same John) who scored a whopping 246 points on the 200% sized AQT set at 200 yards.
Thanks to Reckless Rick and Theokestral for helping out. As SBIT Theo actually directed most of the shoot and it was well done.
I must always thank God for the opportunity to be of service to my Country and also for the perfect weather we enjoyed.
It's always nice to have the "ping" of a M1 punctuating the day. There was a hefty pile of brass stacked up by the end.
John and Adam earned Rifleman patches. The children received their youth patches.
A few attendees asked about future opportunities for Known Distance (KD) and Unknown Distance (UKD) shoots.
Once you earn your Rifleman patch you may attend a KD. We run this type of event a few times a year at the Racine County Line Rifle Club. The next KD at Racine is October 13, 2019.
Here is the AAR from a KD in July:
