A One-Day 25M Centerfire Rifleman Clinic was held at the Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club. We experienced mostly sunny weather with wind gusts to 20+ MPH and brief periods of light rain. We ran thru all the basics with coaching in SHF, Six Steps, NPOA, IMC, and Ball & Dummy Drills. Some sad feelings about rifle malfunctions were experienced. Only two of the five riflemen were successful in requalifying on the AQT. We also discussed what is needed in the range bag when humping the distances at the KD. The real test will be next weekend when the Known Distance Clinic is held here at PMRPC.
We had a new IIT step up. Daniel Crowe drove up from Jansen Beach to join us. Dan has shot at Appleseed Clinics around the nation and realized he is ready to begin his journey on the road to Instructor. Welcome to the cadre Deus_Vult! Ask him about his forum name when you see him.
This format was well received and we hope to repeat it before every KD.
