Just a quick note to say thank you, especially to Mrs. Smith.
The Alabama crew got a call from a range manager at one of our newer ranges. They wanted to talk about hosting an Appleseed. So Mixed Metaphor, Google, and I dressed up in our finest Appleseed gear and went to go visit them.
Turns out their General Manager attended an El Paso Appleseed a couple of years ago. Also, the owners son also patched out in Texas. The GM clearly understood our Mission. He was so impressed by Traci and other instructors, he wants to have Appleseeds at his indoor air-conditioned range here in Alabama!
Good job, Texas crew. The seeds you're planting are bearing fruit!

I thought so. I sent him a follow up email some time back, inviting him to join us again, and he mentioned he'd moved back there and was running another gun store (he did it here, too.) Tell him hello!!!
