I've just returned from an overseas tour, and I've landed in North Carolina. The club range I've joined in Southern Pines, NC (Just west of Fayetteville) is interested in learning more about the Appleseed Program, and potentially serving as a range. Not sure who the Appleseed Leaders are in North Carolina, but I can facilitate contact if the program is interested in working with the range (Moore County Wildlife and Conservation Club). I looked on the schedule and it looks like the only ranges currently active in the state are in Ramseur and Charlotte.
To be clear, my current role on Fort Bragg isn't going to afford me the time to step back in as a Shootboss, but I'd still like to be able to support the program as opportunities present themselves.
Send a PM to "Yankee Doodle". He can get ya moving in the right direction.
Also shoot Polonius a PM. He's a big help too! He's plugged into all the instructors in the western part of the state.
