Today being the 245th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, one of my friends sent me this article, suggesting that I post it to our Appleseed forum. Although the side-title of the entry reads, "Its (sic) All About The Tax, Stupid," I think we all understand it was far more fundamental than that.
It was all about the patriots' refusal to subjugate themselves to the will of the Crown. "Hats Off" to those brave men.
