Folks, the recent "glitch" has highlighted the need for us to be able to communicate with each other even if the forum dumps on us. For that purpose, we'll have to get a "communications tree" going. Please add any and all contact info here so if there's a need to contact each other we can do so offline. Don't forget to print out a copy of this list and/or add to your phone, pda, etc.
Note: Share only what you want to. I'm not trying to find out everything about you, I'm simply compiling a list to make it easier for those of us who want to be able to get in touch to do so. If you don't think it's relevant, then don't offer it up.
I'd like to see enough of us on here so we could get a "tree" going..... you know, the ones where you can call someone and they call someone and before you know it we've all been called three or four times. 14,000 in less than 24 hours..... we're not even close to that right now, but here's a start!

Ok so taking Panama's suggestion I took all of the information and complied it into a Word document. I chose Word since it is a program that most people have and are familiar with. O0 I will do my best to monitor the thread and update it as necessary. One note is for those that listed limited contact information, in keeping with the Slim's spirt of this thread as a list to be used when the forum is down, if the internet is also down a secondary contact would be nice. I know there are others here in the Buckeye State that are not listed here so feel free to encourage others to post their info or send me a PM and I will update the list. Thanks to all.

I think it's great to be thinking on these terms. I've been wondering how I might be able to make contact with the people miles and miles away in NY, NH and VT when the grid goes down.

Looks like there are several Ham radio operators here. The American Redoubt Radio Operaters Network (AMRRON) has put together a Communications Signals Operating Instructions (SOI (http://www.amrron.com/2014/02/02/communications-soi-signals-operating-instructions-2/)) PDF file.
This SOI is being adopted and adapted by other groups like the Oath Keeprs and The American Preparedness Radio Network (TAPRN).
