Re: California Appleseed Facebook Admin?
Hi Folks,
As you may have noticed we have migrated away from EventBrite as our registrations system and we now have our own registration system (Events Manager). As the remaining events on EventBrite are completed we will no longer use EventBrite.
The new system (Events Manager) has the ability to integrate with various social media platforms. As we add an event it can simultaneously be potentially added to the Facebook Events page as well. Also, announcements and promotional codes can also be potentially integrated; however, to take advantage of this functionality we have to be Admins on the Facebook pages.
Right now we are aware of 3 separate Appleseed California Facebook pages [i.e., 1) California Appleseed, 2) Project Appleseed - Southern California, and 3) Appleseed - Santa Barbara CA]. Unfortunately we have no idea who is running these pages and who the Admins are.
Can the California cadre tell us who the Admins for these 3 pages are, and help us get in touch?

Tried to send you a note the other day; wanted to tell you that after afar to long hiatus I am finally back to an appleseed; and happen to pick up my blue hat.
Had trouble sending you a PM; but wanted to say HI and let you know that the girls are getting big; and hope to have all three out at an appleseed some time this summer. :)

Okay, a new Project Appleseed - California (https://www.facebook.com/ProjectAppleseedCalifornia/) Facebook page has been created. We have added all the currently scheduled events in California to the Events section of the page.
If you would like to become an editor and contributor please let Bob, myself, or ThePoet know.
I wouldn't say the owners of those pages are "long gone..." (and I was a 'mod' on two of 'em.) They're still around, lurking.
Like so many in the Kaliforniastan Kadre, they haven't abandoned the cause, they've just lost all faith in the local "leadership."
