Title: Buckeye, AZ Appleseed March 21-22, 2009
Post by: AZRedhawk44 on January 09, 2009, 11:12:09 AM
Here we go!

Got a tentative date on the board with Buckeye Hills range.  They have a very nice facility that is brand-spanking new.  Manny, Dan, Len, Mike and all the rest are very receptive to the Appleseed message and eager to host an event.

We chose March 21/22 to get a date on paper... they seem to be very interested in hosting repeat shoots.

Application paperwork in process right now.  We're gonna need a flyer generated ASAP to start publicity.  They are willing to help publicize and anxious to get a PDF copy of the flyer to git 'er dun!

Ron,
The flyer was just posted on the board this afternoon by RW.  It is official.

Are you going to signup as IIT for the shoot???

Hey Arizonans!

This will be after the impromptu day of making all interested into Rifleman and Instructors.

"Are you going to....?"   ;D

More like "You WILL be..."   O0

Ok all, we need to print off the flyer for the Buckeye shoot, make a bunch of copies and start getting them out please.  Let me know what area you can cover so we can maxamize coverage as much as possible.   Try unconvential areas such as Barber shops, Drs office, feed stores and others (with permisson) also gun shops, ranges, sports stores and the like.

We have a short time to do this so it's Blitz time.  Thanks  1911Ron

Ps. I am going to help with the shoot.

Hi guys, I'm one of the officers of the Buckeye Sportsman Club. I just talked with Manuel Alvarez and we haven't recieved any of the flyers about the shoot. We would like to post some at the range. We are starting to get a pretty good turn out on the weekends and it would benefit both organizations to have more info out there.
Thanks,
Apollo

Great, I will let Manuel know. We have been talking to alot of people about the shoot, club members as well as customers at the range. I used to live in Rainbow Valley, grew up there when there was no one around. Way back in the sixties. Now I live in the Village of Buckeye proper.

Hi,

I see the flyer says "primitive camping" available. Is anyone planning on doing that, or are you folks going to be in a hotel? I'm trying to get it together to get out for this shoot.

Rumpshot have you thought of J&G Sales in Prescott to put flyers?  Guys farther north have you put out flyers yet?  How about down south Tucson way?
Please look at the promotion boss thread for ideas on where to put flyers  and other ideas to put to use. 1911Ron

Will try to make a run into J&G today and deliver some flyers.  If not, will have the Mrs. do it sometime next week.  I want to check out their .22 ammo.
