A 1 day KSU K State Wildlife and Outdoor Enterprise Mangement (WOEM) has some awesome folks and young leaders who showed up from Manhattan, Kansas for a one day event. This is part of their program:

We successfully compressed 16 hours into 6 hours with the marksmanship component, the heritage portion and even did KD!
Wow what a dedicated group of shooters and instructors! :~ :~
Our result was that after 2 AQT's we got 4 Riflemen out of 19 college freshmen! O0
This may turn into a regular 2 day event in the future.

Is there a direct relationship between understanding our country's founding and civic virtue?
The answer should anecdotally be quite clear. As our citizens' knowledge of founding principles has declined,
so too has our involvement in this government 'of, by and for The People.' Instead, our citizens seem all too
content to relegate governmental decisions and knowledge to those that have been elected, all the while assuming
these officials' abilities and agendas are working on their behalf. We believe that if this trend continues,
our country will be left with an expansive gulf between the populace and the government.
