What a great patriots day event. Aside from the (no see-ums) [technical term] and Deer fly's. the event went pretty well. Although there were no qualifiers the persistence was unparalleled. the bugs, heat and win not deter our shooters. Ms. Carol who is facing 70 hung in there till the end HzzzzaaaaAHH !.
We got our volley off just under the wire and while calling the line I could feel the pride welling up. this is truly an awesome nation we live in. thank all for allowing me too serve you this weekend

What a great shoot, what great students, and what a great shoot boss! It was such a privilege being on the line with such patriots who showed tremendous persistence and dedication! Carol, your persistence with sighting in problems was inspiring to say the least. It was awesome to see so many families there enjoying the Patriots Day shoot together. Everyone showed tremendous improvement, and it was fun having an SKS on the line. Thanks to Smoak and Henry my fellow instructors! Thank you Archie for running a fun and safe shoot- I learned so much from you. I'm looking forward to working many more shoots with you.
