One of our repeat Appleseeders from Monmouth, Maine had a heart attack last week and had bypass surgery. He regrets not being able to make our Winterseed this weekend. He is home from the hospital and recuperating. People wanted to send him flowers. He asked that they not do that. He wants people to donate to Project Appleseed. Most people on the East Coast know that we will have ideal conditions for a Winterseed. Not only will we have snow on the ground and cold temps; it will be snowing. Again ;-) On Sunday it may clear off, but it will still be winter.
