Title: Proctor Vermont October 22-23
Post by: Grumpy1 on October 24, 2016, 08:37:16 PM
No Sunshine Patriots Need Apply....
Thank You to the members of Proctor Fish and Game Club, for the use of their facility.

Students came from as far as New Hampsire and New York.

Border Raiding Instructors from New York, and even Canada  O0

Seven Patriots joined us us on the line for Vermont's Only Event in 2016. Cool temperatures and Heavy Rain was the name of the game Saturday, but that didn't slow these determined students.
Sunday started with the discussion of a Winterseed, with snowfall at local higher elevations. The skies began to clear the pop ups came down,( except for the one mother nature removed during the night) $$-0 . By late morning it was a beatiful day. Students got to work early, We started with the redcoat rumble, which was won by Squad 1 Dave, Diane, and Dan. We then confirmed zeros and got busy on AQTs.
We then moved out to 100 yards, everyone confirmed zero, by either come up or hold over, and we ended the day with some impressive groups

Vermont has some Reqalified Rifleman

Dave qualified multiple times, with a high of 246  :~

Dan also qualified multiple times with a high of 246 :~

Everyone did a Great Job! Perseverance was the name of the game, Saturday, was one of the worst weather Appleseeds, that I have ever done, and it was tough, even I was caught off guard, but everyone held it together, and Everyone returned on Sunday O0 O0

Big Thanks to my Instructor Crew

Sounds like a great deal of dedication was exhibited by both the instructors and shooters. To have everyone return, after the day that you have described, speaks volumes for the commitment of all.

Congrats to Dave and Dan, on your scores and accomplishments. Please come back to another event and consider taking an Orange Hat. You either have natural talents or an amazing ability to take in and internalize the teaching. Either way, you sound like the type of individuals that could continue to advance in the program.
