This week it was our pleasure to have the first ever Appleseed at the Green County Rifle Club, Inc in Monroe Wisconsin. Thanks to our new friend, and Appleseed orange hat Kota we had a wonderful weekend in beautiful Monroe. Kota is a member of the rifle club and he did the footwork to get this Appleseed on the books. In addition, he and his fellow club members built our target line! Thanks Kota and friends, great job! We had 6 enthusiastic students, 5 of whom had attended more than 1 Appleseed before! In fact, 3 of them came as riflemen and re-qualified on Sunday! Congratulations to Paul, Patrick and Rob. In addition, Eric won his rifleman patch with a perfect 210!! The last two of our attendees had a great time leaning and practicing our instruction, Riley at 13 is an amazing shot. It was his 1st Appleseed and he was a wonderful student with remarkable grouping! And last but not least, Josh at 10 has been to 4 previous Appleseeds and he shot better than ever before! He did so well, he was given a turn on a new rifle with tech sites and really did well! Great job Riley and Josh. Paul and Patrick are considering taking orange hats! What an amazing addition to Appleseed they would be!

This was a great weekend with three requalifiers and one new rifleman. It was great working with Kota, Slothman, Kholin, and Sis. This was a sweet range and was very Appleseed friendly. Thanks, Green County Rifle Club!
