Title: Ladyseed Charlottesville Virginia April 30-May 1 2016
Post by: Dangerous Cook on May 02, 2016, 09:21:21 PM
Virginia held its first, but certainly not its last, Ladyseed.  While the number of attendees was small, each lady who attended was very pleased with the event.  The comments from the ladies who had been to an Appleseed event previously mostly involved a more relaxed atmosphere and a little slower pace, which they liked.  They did not feel as though there was competition and could focus on the fundamentals of position, six steps and NPOA.

The history was told with love and passion and the questions from our attendees were thoughtful and on target.  Pleased to Aim handled the first strike for her first time and Missus Monkey told the third strike for the first time. OddsReven told the second strike with her usual grace.  DOM was told by Dangerous Cook.

From our 6 lady shooters (and one Applecore member), we were able to pass out 2 purple patches. These went to our youngest ladies on the line.  We were all very proud of them.  Each one also cleaned a redcoat!
Our other 4 shooters showed great improvement and had scores in the 170s.  The main question was when can we have another Ladyseed? A wonderful question for us to plan around here in Virginia.

On behalf of my wife... were there any other pics taken that aren't already on the Facebook page?

Short answer is yes.

Will dig some up (after editing to make them forum suitable) and post.
