Hello, I'm on the SMSC board along with Cully, Woody35, and FreedomV. I'd just like to make it clear that the Appleseed
is authorized to proceed as scheduled.
A week ago, we had to close the range temporarily (http://www.postbulletin.com/news/local/gun-range-remains-closed-will-tighten-security-systems/article_17110c32-a4d0-5f11-b014-f265870a5b2d.html) due to concerns over a stray 9x19mm round that landed in a neighbor's yard. (There's no direct evidence that it came from our range, but we're taking precautions anyway.)
From an email confirming with the club president:

We'll need to work out the logistics for access via the front gate, though, since currently none of the badges will unlock it, and since no one else is allowed to use the range that day, we can't just prop it open.
