What a beautiful weekend to celebrate Patriots' Day! We had 15 shooters answer the call on Saturday. The morning was chilly, but the sun was out; and by the afternoon, it warmed up into the 60s. The shooters dug deep and one re-qualified on Saturday with many others knocking on the door. We were fortunate to have an instructor contact the Concord Chamber of Commerce and procure a number of pamphlets outlining the events of Battle Road - a great supplement during the telling of the 3 Strikes. When we reconvened on Sunday morning, 12 shooters returned and we started the day with 2 shooters clearing the Redcoats - congrats! After warming up, we distributed Appleseed playing cards amongst the students and instructors to aid in the telling of Dangerous Old Men. When we got into AQTs, we saw 3 students re-qulify as Rifleman and one earned the coveted MD Front Site Distinguished designation. Well done!
We were also fortunate to have the support of Hoppe's 9. They were gracious enough to provide a can of their Gun Medic Cleaner & Lube - Quick Fix for every student and instructor at the shoot. Thank you Hoppe's 9!
