14 Students (6 of whom under the age of 13) and a dedicated band instructors braved cold and dreary weather at a Audubon's 2016's inaugural Appleseed event held that the Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club in Audubon , PA. Temperatures hovered in the mid low 40's (Starting out at 32) with winds that would occasionally look to steal what ever warmth we had managed to save! In the face of these uncomfortable conditions - We had 1 student Re-cert at rifleman with a score of 219 (Ben) and a one new addition to the PA 1st Rifles (Ben).
All students persevered and scores improved throughout the day. Many thanks to support from LPRGC Club member (Justin) who was kind enough to provide our class with a portable heater and a fire pit with plenty of firewood to provide some much needed warmth.
