My fellow Kentuckians, I am asking, in fact I am begging! We need more locations to host Appleseeds. I am hoping that we can find some land owners who find it in their hearts to welcome an Appleseed to their property. If I was blessed enough to own property suitable for an Appleseed, I can guarantee we would have one a month or even more.
There is no risk to you as the sanctioned event is protected by our Liability Policy. We will help "scout' the area to deem if the range is safe and appropriate for use as an Appleseed range. All we need is at least 25 meters with a safe back stop to have a range. We will help set up the range and take it down after the shoot.
Kentucky is in dire need of more Appleseeds as well as promoters and instructors. We are blessedto live in one the Freest states in the union and we need to take advantage of that. With the help of generous land owners we can fill the heritage and marksmanship void that we currently have in the Bluegrass State.
We have 2 designated Appleseed ranges now and they are located in the more eastern part of the state (Cumberland and Morehead, KY). What we need now is for Central and Western Kentucky to join the program. This is an urgent matter that needs to be attended to otherwise we are going to be branded the next South Carolina by Fred or even worse Funfaler. :'( (Trust me it won't be pretty)
If you step up for the program I bet Funfaler will send you one of the Groovy new smileys your way. O0 (like this one for example)
