A small but dedicated group of shooters showed up and braved the muddy walk to the target line and the insects at Bunnell for a wonderful weekend of history and marksmanship training. Our group this weekend consisted of mainly young shooters and a few adults. All the young ones showed improvement over the weekend. Congratulations to Gary for shooting a 215 on Saturday's AQT and getting the coveted rifleman patch, well done sir! As always, the instructors did a wonderful job - special thanks to Bruce, Janet and Tom - great job! Also thanks to the Flagler gun club for hosting us! We all got a special treat seeing Bruce show up in full period garb complete with that super sweet musket of his. It was always a pleasure to have Dix with us all weekend - that man is a national treasure. It was a refreshing change and a treat to be among so many young participants, it's nice to see the future generations engaged and standing tall with rifles in hand. Until next time my friends.........
