Another beautiful summer weekend in Virginia! Temperatures were warm bordering hot but humidity was low. Under the watchful guidance of "JL" (finishing his SBIT) and "Dangerous Cook", we had 12 shooters hearing the forgotten history and polishing their marksmanship. We were able to add an additional Rifleman to the national roster and requalify another. It was a weekend for unusual rifles: an Israeli Tvor, 2 Swiss K-31s, a Remington 597 Tactical, an original Browning "T" bolt, and a couple of Marlin bolties added to the usual assortment of S&W M&P-22s, Ruger 10-22s and Marlin 795s. Many thanks to Kay C young and the facility at Black Creek for use of an excellent facility.

Congratulations, John! I'm sure your promotion is a relief to our overworked SC.
Wish I could have been there, just too far away this time.
Awesome job John! Wish I could have been there.
Haven't been to this facility yet - looking forward to making it maybe at the end of the year.
