Wanted to poste comments regarding the BRC 8/22-823 shoot before much more time passed.
Going from memory, we had about 15 shooters on the line, most new to AS events & a few that had attended prior shoots. Had a successful & safe shoot, and 2 of the shooters earned their Rifleman Patch. A couple of other guy's got very close, so no doubt they'll be back for sure.
It was great to work with this instructor team again. We have worked many shoots over the last few years. Alan Shoot Boss, & IIT's Fred, Will, and a new Orange hat, 14 year old young fellow named Daine, who earned his Rifleman last November. Great to see the young bloods coming up.
One of the BRC range officers, Rudy, spent the day with us Saturday and shot with us all day, He learned a bunch and may be back to earn that patch for himself.
I don't have all the statistics for the event, but in general they all improved and with one exception they all were there for both full days of the AS event.
