Title: Leetown Gun Club (IWLA) Kearneysville, WV August 29
Post by: Eroyle on August 30, 2015, 10:04:00 AM
Kearneyville, WV - this day brought new meaning to rifleman persists.  A total of 7 people came out to learn more about Marksmanship and American History on a beautiful Saturday.

As we generally do the event started slowly as several shooters were experiencing shooting a rifle for the first time and/or had minimal experience.  The instructor team worked with everyone needing additional assistance to get the shooters at a better comfort level.  This was a fun group of shooters, very eager to learn, improve their skills but even more importantly learn more about American History as everyone was very attentive.  Double A Ron delivered the First Strike and DOM, MVF1776 the second and Cold Warrior the Third. "Bruce in WV" started the day off right delivering bagels and coffee.  Very nice gesture and a big thank you from all of us.  GlockGurl and DoubleARon worked very hard throughout the day to insure that some of the younger shooters would achieve success, learn and were safe.   O0 very nice work.

To the group of instructors, thank you for your work throughout the day.  There was a sense of passion felt by the shooters for our program and what it stands for. Everyone worked through the various equipment problems and the result was everyone walked away from the event happy and with a sense of accomplishment.   Thank you SonofAVeteran, ABCGarand, GlockGurl, DoubleARon, MVF1776  and ColdWarrior.   Additionally, Leetown Gun Club range representative made positive comments about the quality of our instruction and safety.

To all the students thank you for a great event!  We hope to see you at another Appleseed event soon and bring a friend, co-worker or family member.  Remember to "Like" us on Facebook - Project Appleseed Maryland.  Thanks once again to Leetown Gun Club for hosting the event.  Great facility!
