Hey guys,
I thought we needed a thread that let everyone know where everyone was. I bet there's some folks right here in middle GA (where I am) that I've never even met. So send your reply with your town of residence, and I'll compile it into this post.
Also, maybe we could set up a frappr map or a google map that lays it all out.
Here goes:
Appalacious- Perry
Cannonman61 and sons: Hinesville
Sgt Cap: Hinesville
Ann: Butler
WECSOG: Marietta
Snaphook: Woodstock
Sanderman: Conyers
Flathead: Cornelia
Jollynator: Valdosta
Yonah: Milton (N. Fulton Co.)
All further updates will be recorded on the map.
(If you made it to the above list, consider yourself elite :) )
Thanks guys: keep it up!

Hey all you "Bulldogs",
I see some fresh and smiling faces here ;)
We could use a little bit of internet help to get more people to the firing lines. Our effort has PROVEN to be effective, with already 14+ additional shooters to the firing lines of two Nevada locations.
2-3 of you folks want to work together, we could see the numbers at the GA shoots really jump.
If you are interested, let me know, PM me. Please put "Georgia" in the subject line! it really helps me.
You need not have ever been to an Appleseed, you need no special skills. It requires email manipulation and a dedication to see your fellow Georgians on the firing line next to you.
This stuff is very easy, just need about an hour a day, for about 4-5 days, and the state of Georgia will be reaping the benefits of your efforts, with real people coming to the firing line.
Are you in? Can you spare an hour a day, for less than a week to help preserve your Heritage and pass on our Tradition to the next generation?
I look forward to hearing from you all <:)

Just went to my first shoot this weekend in Toccoa. Had a great time despite the all day rain. I hope to score Rifleman on my next shoot. It was great to meet all you guys.
Hey Tom,
Glad you could make it. The rain was not so bad right? Just kidding. It was great to meet you too.

Nah, it wasn't that bad. Except the fact that I had to keep wiping the rain drops out of my rear sight aperture just so I could see the target, lol. It was a ton of fun and I look forward to the next one.

Sorry to but in, but once ya'll find yerselves - anyone want to head a little southwest to Pensacola this weekend to work an event? Lots of pre-regs and a little short handed. ItsanSKS is a great SB to work with.
Pensacola is so far north I am having trouble getting the FL crew to cover it fully, so any help GA can offer would be much appreciated!
Thanks,

OK, let's assume everone knows where everyone else lives - that's a good thing!
Now, what?
(It may help define the next step if we recognize that - right now - the ship is sinking faster than it was when we started this program, nearly 5 years ago. And still I see no one trying to save it - not like we are doing. But we need all the help you can give. And the best place to start? Right! Right here, in Georgia.)
currently in Millington, TN. I live in Marietta, GA, my office is in Greenville, SC. I post Appleseed posters everywhere I go and talk up the program where ever I go (even Moscow)
I'm planning to go to Manchester, TN if they can use a orange hat labor day weekend

Hello all,I recently signed up to the forum in hopes of attending an event.
I live in Effingham county, right outside Savannah. So far I have found that Augusta is the closest shoot.I havent been able read into all the threads so please let me know if I am wrong.
Phillip
Phillip,
The easiest way to find shoots near you is on the home page. RWVA.org. Clink on the national map on the right, then GA, or any other state near you. You should not have to travel very far anymore.
Loganville!
"Where's Loganville!?" Had to say it.
mattd, Warner Robins.
Attended my first AS in Augusta this past weekend. It was great and I really want to go again.
Brian F. I work in Warner Robins and live a little to the west. Attended my first AS in March 2010 at Ocmulgee WMA (shot a 170) and my second at Dublin in February (shot a 203 - knocking on the door).
What do all the colors represent on the map? Green dots and hat guy are explained... what about the other color dots?
red dots are red hats (non-shoot boss).
light blue is appleseed ranges.
regular blue is shooters.
purple is gun stores that i've been to :)
I'll just take the purple gun stores off. kinda clutters the map.
Just looked at the map for the first time. You really did a great job. O0 Surely we have more folks than those that have responded, especially "hats". Come on guys sign in, please.

Hey Ed+B, I have control over the google map to make updates. I will get you added. I am glad to add anyone to the map, but just wondering if you are an instructor I haven't met yet. I assume you have attended a Toccoa shoot? I will get you added, I can change the status of what you are on the map based on you updating me. Thanks for stepping up and being counted.
Might as well throw myself in on this Norcross here
