Title: Pepin Wisconsin, Aug.1-2,2015
Post by: martin on August 03, 2015, 08:45:23 PM
We had a great time down along the Mississippi River in Pepin, Wisconsin this past weekend. The weather was great and 5 students showed up with great attitudes. A Shoot Boss can't ask for more. We didn't get any Rifleman but everybody was steadily improving and will have their Rifleman patch soon.

Special Thanks to our partner this weekend, the Pepin Sportsman Club.

A big thanks to the RSO this weekend, RustyRed. She spent her wedding anniversary weekend at an Appleseed and never complained.
Like I said, a Shoot boss can't ask for more.

RustyRed should have pictures shortly.

My son and I had a fantastic time at this Appleseed!  This was our first experience with Marksmanship training.  It was awesome!  And we really enjoyed the detailed history of the Revolutionary war period, too.

Thanks to Martin and RustyRed (and Pepin Sportsman Club) for a great experience!  This won't be our last Appleseed, and next time I'll bring more family members!

Great job!
