Do you have a son or daughter that is a sophomore or junior in high school? If so the NRA has a wonderful opportunity for her/him to attend the North Carolina Youth Education Summit. The summit will be in Raleigh on September 11 to September 13, 2105. The deadline for applications is August 17. The application process is very simple and the event is free. The summit awards three scholarships and grants a trip to the National Youth Education Summit for the summer of 2016.
My son, Grathlong, has attended this event in 2013 and 2014. He had a wonderful experience and I would love to see other Appleseed teens attend the summit. The link below provides a rough outline of what the students can expect. If you have additional questions about this opportunity please PM me.
