Saturday started bright and early(for some)at PBSC. One student, escorted by her grandparents, started the day with the Pledge of Allegiance. Introductions and a safety briefing followed, the student was brought to the line. There she met the Red Coats. As usual, squares and AQTs followed. Lunch provided by the club was delicious. History followed, along with more targets. By the end of the first day, AQT scores were in the low 100's
And Sunday was even better: attendance tripled (all the way to 3!). We had a little cloud cover and a little breeze and the day was quite pleasant. Once we got the new rifles zeroed, we hit the AQTs hard. Carson and Mackenzie were shooting in the 100's by the end of the day and Matt scored 205 on his last AQT. I have no doubt that he will shoot Rifleman at his next Appleseed and that the ladies will be right behind him.
They did a good job, and Carson came all the way from Mississippi to be with us. Thank you ladies and Matt - hope to see you again soon.
