We are trying to do promo events in conjunction with the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance Foundation at the Cabelas in Woodbury, Rogers, and Owatonna this coming Saturday.
events run from 10-2
you get a free lunch at the Cabelas cafeteria (pretty tasty, IIRC) as well as a $20 Cabelas gift card for working the event
we would be working the inflatable BB gun ranges as INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEER RSOs ( no instructor gear allowed), as well as a promo table for Appleseed
Ideally, we would like 3 or more volunteers at each location, but could get by with 2
I sent out PMs and emails, and I'm coming up short
border raiders and folks just passing thru are welcome to assist
Help!
rsvp to this thread and/or PM me
I believe I may have Woodbury covered, Rogers and Owatonna are not.

I have attended 3 Appleseed events and scored Rifleman in all three, but have not taken a hat. If I still qualified, I would be able to work the Owatonna event. who would I report to? Would I need credentials to get in?

We could only get 3-4 people, so I called the USSA rep and let her choose which of the 3 locations we would work.
She chose Owatonna. So everybody head there. Be there no later than 09:30. I will bring pop-ups, promo, banner, water. Wear an AS T-shirt.
NO INSTRUCTOR GEAR IS TO BE WORN AT THE BB GUN RANGE ( RWVA hats, ponchos, etc.) You are volunteering as a private individual to work the BB gun range, not as an RWVA instructor. T-shirts are allowed.
Apparently, USSA scheduled the events opposite the Minnesota state 4-H trap championships this year. Almost as bad as going up against Mothers' Day. They are having trouble getting volunteers from other groups as well. They were relatively happy that we could provide anybody to help out.

Thanks K for working through this!
