Twelve intrepid students launched a new Appleseed range in northwest Illinois!
Put your comments and pictures here. Everyone did GREAT!
We had a great weekend despite the rain on Saturday and the wind on Sunday. Many thanks to Tom for sharing his farm with us. While we didn't have anyone shoot rifleman (nearly impossible with the high winds we had all day), we saw significant improvement in everyone. It was exciting to see three or four participants who had never shot a rifle until our event on Saturday and to see their progress. I look forward to the day they earn their rifleman patch.
Had a great time Sunday! We had six hungry students that showed up for more history, and marksmanship.
This was my first AS as an IIT. Rex is a great instructor. It was very windy on Sunday, but temps were nice, and we even got some sun in the afternoon.
I have a few pictures, but having a hard time getting them to post. As soon as I figure it out, I will get them up.
