The Harvard, MA April 19th weekend is always special, and it is especially so since it is held within marching distance of the very FIRST Appleseed.
The weather cooperated, and was, for the most part, sunny and warm, in the high 60's. Attendance at the Harvard event was fantastic!
55 shooters participated this weekend, including 17 Boyscouts and 8 adult leaders from Stoneham, MA Troop 513.
What an event! Shooters and instructors were spread across 3 separate ranges.
Among the attendees there were several familiar faces. Many were shooters who are persistent, motivated, and determined to qualify as Riflemen.
As many as 30 of the adult shooters, were shooting scores in the 160-209 range by Sunday afternoon.
5 shooters.. and familiar faces all..are no longer cooks.. Congratulations to Tim, John, Julio, Lev, and Chris.
Well done!
The Memorial Volley was an event onto itself. Even though tired, weary and nearing the end of a long weekend of tremendous effort,
the shooters were charged with energy and excitement at the announcement that they were participating in a synchronized
and coordinated event with other Patriots across America.
A round of applause is also due to our instructors who made this event possible. Lupis42, Aim, Ulyssess, mzweatherby,LimaTango, roundtrip, voidoid, and SamB, you have my many thanks
and admiration. You rose to the challenge, you adapted, and adjusted. Success was achieved because of your hard work and dedication. This could not have happened without you.
Here's a link to a youtube video showing an AQT at Harvard, MA on April 18-19, 2015

Welcome Julio!!! Please do post what you have to this thread. If you are unable to do so for some reason, let one of the instructors know and we'll take care of it.
Congrats on making Rifleman, and looking forward to seeing you at the next shoot (we'll have your shiny orange hat ready).
