I just signed up my buddy and I for this shoot, and I'm really looking forward to it!
Put a new stock on the 10/22 and adjusted the scope as far forward as I can go with this rail - hopefully this will allow me to chicken-neck enough to get a good cheek weld and not lose eye relief. I'm going to be leveling it and zeroing it at the range this weekend.
I hope to see many of you there!
EEEE,
O0
Will this be your first event?

Awesome, Bryan. It will be great to see you out there again. I guess the Winterseed didn't kill ya, huh? :)

Nope, I guess I'm just too ornery to die.
Tired me out a lot, though!
Zeroed the scope on the 10/22 and the 77/22 Hornet this weekend on the benchrest - pretty happy with the eye relief, but not with the scope height above rail. I might get some low rings to try to mitigate this as I'm "lower jaw weld" right now, and possibly add a cheek pad/buttstock cover.
EEEE. it was great to see you all in Niles Today. What an excellent event. Awesome instruction, valuable history and fellowship with some excellent people.
Awesome event! Great Instructors and Leadership. Shout out to the young Orange hats and the Blue hats. The future of Appleseed is in good hands. BORCC did a great job hosting the event. The property was clean and parking ample. The History talks of this weekend, that took place 240 years ago, sent chills up my spine. The Patriots that stepped up for our benefit deserve some recognition from everyone. They are Honored at every Appleseed event, but specifically today, the first Fourteen that died for our Liberty were recognized by name and a salute from the Firing Line. Proud to be an American.

I've had a great time at all three of the Appleseeds I've attended. Great instruction, great people, great fun!
I really like the dueling tree, although I only was able to fire 2 shots at it!
