Title: Frozen Mosin
Post by: The Old Guide on February 24, 2015, 10:20:04 PM
Pleasant River Fish and Game held their annual Frozen Mosin shoot last weekend. This February could be the coldest month ever in Maine history and it could also be the heaviest single month for snowfall. Conditions for the shoot were brutal, just the way a Frozen Mosin should be. The top three shooters were all Appleseed Riflemen who put their skills to good use. It is not an unfair advantage. It is an advantage anybody can possess. Just come to an Appleseed shoot and learn the skills to become a rifleman.

The shooter who placed second for the day had his glasses fog and relied on NPOA to make hits. It works as advertised. Some visitors from Skowhegan attended. They have their new 300 yard range up and working. They took good notes and may have their own Frozen Mosin in Western Maine.
