Title: New hats in Indiana
Post by: TJ Kackowski on December 13, 2014, 11:23:39 AM
Time for some Huzzahs and horn tooting ... Indiana has a newly minted Red and Green hat.  What a wonderful color combination for this time of year.

Take a moment and extend your Congratulations to Lonestar6 for earning her Red hat, and to TJ Kackowski for earning his Green hat (and tooting his own horn).

More importantly, let's give a hearty Huzzah to Uncle Davey for FINALLY getting some ink on his PC4 paperwork.  I suspect that he will be our first Red hat in 2015 ... maybe as soon as February at Bedford!

Pictures are located here ... http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=43705.0

Until we meet again, take very good care of you and yours.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Easy TJ! I've been working on this for awhile now and can't promise it will be in February. It will be special when it happens and there are certain mentors that I want in attendance. Most important I want to be polished and have earned it..thanks for the vote of confidence though! I will endeavor to reach that status this coming season ok?  O0

If you don't, I am saddling you with one of my custom big head red hats, and thusly you shall look like you have a small head as punishment.  ;D

On a serious note, a thought that helped me is that the red hat means you meet the standards; it doesn't mean you have reached perfection.
The program needs full instructors who are still improving themselves now more than it needs perfect full instructors later. I know that I still have
much to learn myself; I have yet to work with Jake or the Mohawk, amongst other notables, but the red hat helps me do more for the program
during that time. I like Dave's instruction, I liked the strike I heard him tell, but, more importantly, I believe in his quality standard for himself,
so, when he says he's ready, he's ready, and that's all right with me.

I liked working for TJ at Redbrush; the man is hardcore. Can't wait to work with Ms. Lonestar.

John you don't even know how much I disdain wearing RED. I will have to customize it when I receive said hat so that it matches my orange hat. I have a embroidery specialist on standby....
