Title: AAR: Superior, WI -- July 12-13, 2014

'Twas a glorious weekend for an Appleseed in East Minnesota!

Much thanks to the Douglas County Fish and Game League for allowing us use of the beautiful George Constance Sr. Memorial Range.  For those who have not been, you will find that this range is a rare gem.  Well laid out and maintained with covered firing line and targets out to 300 yards.  Open to the public three days a week, targets provided, you need only to show up with a rifle, ammunition and perhaps a modest donation.

Because the range was open to the public on Saturday, and because such a nice firing line would hardly build the character that Appleseeders have become accustomed to, we took the more suitable side range for our 25m work.

We had six shooters.  They were fortunate enough that Privateer, Weaslewoods, and Boscohurn were there to keep Aftermath at bay.   ~~:)

We got off to a slow start on Saturday, but quickly picked up the pace.  Just when the event was about to reach it's climax, day one came to an end - with shooters anxiously anticipating the next.

What would day two bring?

To be continued...
