What a great weekend. Appleseeders joined the Southern Wisconsin Appleseed Instructors for a GORGEOUS weekend at McMiller in Eagle, WI to hear the story of April 19, 1775 and learn and practice the fundamentals of marksmanship. A great mix of new shooters and more experienced shooters. Jim and young James battled equipment problems on Day 1, but perservered. Young Dylan improved greatly from Day 1 to Day 2, while his dad Ryan made an impressive showing himself. Chris shot a Rifleman score of 210 (Huzzah!) and stepped up to take an orange hat. Well done!
Another Orange Hat for WI - oh yeah!! ..:.. ..:.. ..:..
It was a great weekend. The weather was perfect. The line was eager to learn and we even added a rifleman and an orange hat! Congrats to Chris. Thanks to all that came out for a bit of heritage and marksmanship!
Sorry for the lack of pics. I didn't get many this weekend. Here are a few.
I was one of the Marines who had attended this weekend and I must say once again, this was one of the finest weekends I had had in 20 years. We are very pleased with everything, how it was managed, the training provided, and history, and the patriotism shown at this weekends event. Thank you for sharing with us a great time. As a result of this fine experience, I had passed the word on the several others who did not know about Appleseed, but will be joining in Racine in July.
Thank you all.
