Sure would be a shame to miss another year at this great event. With attendance down why are we not having a booth at this event?? Its been several years since we have had one. Booth rental was cheap. Do we not have enough people to handle 70,000 like minded, 2A folks?? There is still time to put something together. There are no other events on the schedule for that weekend. Should we or shouldn't we, that is the question.

Hunting and Fishing Days?
Oktoberfest at Lee's Summit. Isn't that mostly outdoors and a German Festival? I guess you could dress like Hessians. **) Call them and ask for a speaking roll and we can organize a Libertyseed.

Yep the "Ol Red Fox 24 has it figured out. The Illinois National Hunting and Fishing Days. A two day event at two separate locations. The Northern Illinois Hunting and Fish in Yorkville draws 40,000 people for the two day event and the Southern Illinois Hunting and Fishing days draws 30,000 folksat Carterville. 40,000 plus 30,000 equals 70,000. This is really to good of an event to pass up. I have run an Appleseed booth twice at the Southern Illinois and Fishing Days but it takes 5-6 people that can talk to people to make it work. There is still time to make it happen.
