Alabama Appleseeders,
There is an event coming up weekend after next, April 26-27, at the beautiful Central Alabama Gun Club in Montgomery. We have a capacity of 25, but at this point, in spite of heroic promotions work by our BOTG Mike C., we have only two preregistrations. We have a crew from Georgia coming over to help our Alabama Appleseed family get this event up and running, and it is hoped that we can generate some local instructors who will be able to adopt the venue in the future. If there is anything you can do to drum up some interest in this event and get our attendee numbers up, it would be most appreciated. This is a lovely time of year to be outside, and we are looking forward to a fine event.
I made another announcement on the Alabama FB page and cross-posted to the CAGC page this morning.
We're on the CAGC website (scroll way down), but their most visible list of recent events is outdated. Is the club doing email announcements to their members?
I would be joining you if my plans didn't put me on the road that weekend.
