Title: Knob Creek March 29-30
Post by: KyPilot on March 20, 2014, 11:27:17 PM
Anyone going to Knob Creek the 29th and 30th?  They actually have some 22LR in their store, but limit each person to 100 rounds per day.  Weather forecast sounds like spring rather than the winter we have been having.

We have 10 shooters signed up.  We have room for 14 more.  I will be there.  That's good to hear about the .22 ammo.   Rayne, I did not know you were born here in the Promised Land.  Or maybe I knew but forgot.  Well, at least you started out well...  ;)

UL, I will be unable to be there Saturday morning due to one of those sad family duties. Hope to be there by mid afternoon.  My shooter sign up name initials are MB.  See you there!

Sorry to hear that but thanks for the heads-up.

Is it possible to go to just the Sunday session if we missed the saturday session?   If so, do we only need about 200+ rounds instead of the suggested 400?

Yes it is possible to only attend the Sunday session. You may be lost for a little bit but we will get you up to speed. Round count should be about 250 or so most likely. Hope to see you in the morning.

Yes, pouring rain and standing mud.  And, like Rayne said, great attitudes from the shooters.  It would have been easy for them to whine and complain but I didn't hear any of that.  Special "Atta girl" to Caitlyn (I hope I spelled that right).  She was a trooper!  She was cold and tired and unfamiliar with rifles but stuck to it.  She was putting together some awesome groups by the end of the day.  Nice job Caitlyn.

It was pleasure to work with all of you.  Despite the less than stellar conditions I am glad I went.  My first out-of-state shoot was a good one!

C ya,

brian
