It's been reported this Tennessee gentleman has over 1 million regular subscribers to his you tube channel .

In this segment he shoots examples of rifles beginning with the flintlock and ending with the M16 .
I looked through his many videos and did not see a reference to the " Appleseed program " possibly this could be an opportunity to get us more national attention .
He is an reportedly an active member of www.CALGUNS.net although I've not searched his posts and have no idea of how active he is on the worlds largest online gun forum ?
Hickock's announced four opportunities for the public to meet with him. The meet-and-greets are all at gun shops in Kentucky and Tennessee: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bscKopwYyuQ
Since I live in Nashville, I'm going to see about meeting Hickock in Joelton. TNOutdoors9 will likely be there as well. Though I'm not sure how many subscribers TN has he's also huge in the YouTube-o-sphere. Either one of them could really be a boon to our cause.
A follow-up: I met Hickok and his son John at last Saturday's meet-and-greet. Hickok probably won't be joining us. He's got his hands full doing what he does, which I completely understand. Appleseed is MY way of "paying it forward" and Hickok's got his own train already well on track!
I also got to meet another YouTube hero - TNOutdoors9. He was looking through the list of dates and locations that I'd handed out with a bit of self-interest - TN's getting serious now with distance rifle shooting. He's also an 18th cousin of Paul Revere. O0
Look out for Tommy, and catch some of this videos while you're at it; he's the man when it comes to truly informative terminal ballistics testing:
