Title: Shawano WI; Oct 19-20, 2013
Post by: JoeZ on October 20, 2013, 11:12:52 PM
A few words here to descibe our experiences this weekend if I may.

Exercise is good. We had a mild exercise regimen for the body and a good healthy one for the mind.
Cold, that is, 6 less degrees and I would have had to bring icicle patches.
Dedicated Americans all showed up again for their second day despite rain, the Packer game, and most were shooting centerfire all day and some for both days strait. It's been awhile since I've been on a line with 2/3's centerfires wailing away.
Fun is being able to have the riflemen of the group engage steel at 100, 200, and 300 yards distant right next to and using the same line commands as the 25m line. For the shooters, it's neat to see their own relentlessly ringing gongs using the same skills they all are learning. Hey, this stuff works!!!
Congratulations to our new rifleman Chris and also to returning rifleman Josh who smashed out a 240 with his AR 15.
Thanks to the shooters for coming out, ballisticattitudechange for the help, and the Shawano Gun Club for use of their property.

Hope to see you all soon,
JoeZ

Looks like a great event!  Way to get those centerfires to use their legs!

Another great shoot from Mr.Z! (Thanks again Joe!)
