Title: Brazil Appleseed This Weekend!
Post by: brianheeter on June 25, 2013, 12:21:22 PM
Ever feel like you spend all of your time working shoots and not being a shooter yourself?  I do.  So I went to the Greene County Fairgrounds shoot last month and worked on me with my Savage Mark II bolt action rifle.

It's your turn this weekend.  We've got plenty of room on the line for more shooters at ProTEQ Firearms Academy in Brazil, Indiana.  Come and be a shooter and spend some time on YOU.

The Johnson Volunteer Fire Department will be providing coffee and danishes in the morning, hot lunches both days and drinks all day all for the price of a donation to their cause.  Here's part of an email I got from one of the firefighters:

"Saturday the high is supposed to be 80. Hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill and fresh home fries. Coffee, ice tea, bottled water and Gatorade on ice throughout the entire training evolution, as well as snack chips. Cinnamon rolls in the morning.

Sunday, the high is projected to be 79. Same fare as Saturday except fresh caught blue gill and crappie fillets, fried on site, potato salad and cole slaw and other stuff mentioned above."

If you can do it, come out and make a trip to the range to work on YOU...and enjoy ProTEQ's hospitality.

See you on the line,

brian

A lot of Hoosiers think this too, especially in January and February!

I dressed up some steel with a coat of red paint to make full sized red coats for the KD.

We're gonna use them at different ranges to practice estimating distance and to demonstrate drop with the rim fires.  We'll have a 4" target for the shooters to work on.
