I thank you all for your kind comments. This is truly a milestone in my life.
The journey to the Appleseed System was similar to that of many others. Reading a few words written in Shotgun News, seeing a booth at a gun show (Three guys in RWVA gear, with a LTR, who each said that their name was Mark!!!) and making the decision, "I have to GO NOW". But what really is it? What is an Appleseed Event? What is to be expected? Well, one finds out when they arrive and they leave with far, far more than they ever expected. We all know it to be true. We have all seen the results hundreds of times. And who will be there to greet them when they do arrive? Who was waiting to welcome us as a valued friend and neighbor? Who took us by the hand and started us on a road, which was thought to be lost? Someone that stood up and did the job because it needed to be done. Would we let them stand there alone? NO!!!! And that is why we all volunteer our time and efforts to do whatever duties are required.
As LittleMo once said "We need the help". And as R1sgx2 (with stick in hand) once said after looking at a great target group "YOU, KNOCK IT OFF!!!". There can be no greater compliment!!!!
