Grunt Soldier earned his red hat this weekend in Nashville. It was a pleasure for me to present it to him after 7th stepping him to his first shoot in Friendship where he shot Rifleman, and then seeing him take his orange hat in Indy a short time later. I got to see his skills put to use this weekend on everything from a shy youth shooter to a persisting seeder and everything in between. He will be a great asset to Project Appleseed for sure.

I remember that first 'seed in Friendship, drizzly as it was your smile never diminished. I was sure then you would end up here, looking forward to working with you many times in the future.

So when do we put a hat on her?

Lol YHJ that shoot got me hooked and my little one asks every time can she come. I don't think I will hold out on her to much longer. probably in september when she turns 7 I'll bring her to shoot and we will go from there :)
