WOW what a great bunch of kids :)) Brett and I had the pleasure of sharing our country's heritage with over 170 fifth and sixth graders in two seperate presentations.
We were completely stunned (and very happy) to hear about how they already had a great and detailed knowledge of April 19th 1775. The vast majority of people have no idea who Dr.Warren and Margaret Gauge is much less the Prescott family, the Cedar Grove students knew them ALL O0 What a great reflection of the teachers and staff.
A special thanks to Mrs. Gerlach for getting the date and a room reserved for us.
Looking forward to working with you in the future....RICK

This is amazing. Great job both of you and thank you again for taking time out of your week to do this.
Have you gotten any feedback from the schools?

Well?
Sorry I was late to see this thread. It was a great time and all the faculty members we talked to seemed grateful to have us. Thanks again Rick for doing all the work to get this set up.
Here's a pic of Rick talking to the 5th grade class.

Look at the map on that 15 foot wide board in front of the class. What a great idea, Rick! O0
The students stayed engaged the whole time and so did the teachers,We ended up answering a couple questions that the teachers and the students had.Everything felt pretty positive,The students really loved the chamber flags and stickers and the teacher that put together the room and the time appreciated her T-shirt and the program.
We will stay in touch and set up a date for next year
