Title: Great news!!!! Western Washington Dedicated Appleseed Range
Post by: Wheeler44 on August 03, 2008, 05:06:21 PM
Hear Ye, Hear ye.

Brother Wade has given greatly to our cause. He has donated, financed and built a range for the use of Project Appleseed.

Let me repeat that. Brother Wade has personally, with the help of his Son in law (thanks John), and the blessing of his wife (thanks Mrs. Wade) built for us with his own time, money and effort an Appleseed range.

Wade took time off from work, took money from his wallet, took effort that he could have used in any number of ways just to build us a range.  Three cheers for Wade (Huzzah, Huzzah, Huzzah) three cheers his able helper John (Huzzah, Huzzah, Huzzah) and a very special, loud and resounding three cheers for Mrs. Wade (HUZZAH,HUZZAH, HUZZAH)

So there you go, an example has been made. A challenge has been met. A range has been built. A stumbling block has been hurdled and removed from our path.

Let freedom ring.

Never again will we ask "where can we have a shoot?" Never again will we ask "when can we have a shoot".

We are blessed.

Thank you Wade.

Sincerely,

Wheeler44

Excellent job Wade!

One heck of of team out there, an example for us all.
New York is getting close to a DAR itself, but not yet.

B964, why not invite Wade to move to NY?  ;D

Better yet, why not tell your fellow NY-kers that you'll be inviting Wade in to 'clean things up' unless they get their act together - gosh, it would have to be just a little embarrassing to have to have some guy drive all the way from Washington state, just to get a DAR - right?

Hey All
It was a Kick  to build it  when else can a guy rent a King sized Tonka toy on steroids and play in the dirt,And prove realestate agents wrong they listed that part of my land as "Useless" yup even a hole on the ground that rough and hilly and over grow with weeds and berry vines Can be used to build a Rifle Range,,,,,easyest way to do it ,,,2 words TEAM WORK, more on that later with pic's right now play times done back to the truck loads gotta get there.

I would be happy to have him... but.... New York has recently had reinforcements from South Carolina arrive.  "ArmyWife71004" is in state now, and Boltgun71 is coming back to NY soon. (you two know each other?)

NY WILL have a DAR very soon. The final push coming from WA beating us to the punch. NY may not be first everytime but she will never be last.

Wade,

Excellent work getting that range built, you are an inspiration to Appleseeders everywhere.

Did a real estate agent tell anyone else they have a "useless" piece of land that they want to turn into a DAR?  ;D
Ask Wade how to turn it into something good great.

Washington state is getting it done.
