In commemoration of Women's History Month, North Country Lady and I will make the presentation "Women of 1775" again this year. It will be before the end of February. We don't have a date from the library, but they want to do it. I do the first two Strikes and NCL does Strike 3 and the Women of 1775.
Her family came over on the Mayflower. That would be the Thurber family. The other side of her family owned the ship!
That sounds great! (I tried to set up something similar for President's Day but couldn't pull it all together in time.)
Would you please post a synopsis (or a link if it has already been done) of NCL's "Women of 1775" presentation?
I'll have North Country Lady do it. She's the expert on that.

Our ancestors were shipmates, Francis Cooke.
Our libraryseed will be at 3 PM Feb. 28 at the public library in Lincoln, Maine. It is on West Broadway in the small brick building beside the stream. This will be posted on area web sites, businesses and in the weekly paper.
