If you happen to live in the districts of Reps. Otto, Aycock, Pitts, Darby, Keffer, Dale or White now might be a good time to send a thank you note. If you're like me and don't than a gentle nudge to your local Rep seems appropriate.

Has the Governor ever attended an Appleseed? I'd invite him to one up Nort' here but probably not workable.

How about you folks down in the great state of Texas sending out some feelers?

I spoke with my State Rep (Lois Kolkhorst) & State Senator (Glenn Hegar) offices today. They're both on board with this and the bill to allow teachers to carry concealed.
